Intel announced recently it will be shipping the newest Atom 330 chipsets in Q3 instead of Q4.
The Atom 330 features a 1.6GHz clock speed and comes in Dual-Core versions. The processor uses the current 45nm technology.
The 330 chip features a 1MB of level 2 cache, support for DDR2 667, and 8-watt TDP.
For those who don’t know, Atom class processors are targeted toward Nettop computers.
Nettop is Intel’s way of saying affordable desktops for web surfing, email checking, and other basic usage on a daily basis.
