The New iPod Nano With 9 Colors
Apple’s 4th generation iPod Nano comes in 9 different colors which they call “nano-chromatic.” Apple went back to the traditional longer rectangular design for the 4th gen models. The new Nano comes in two configurations, an 8GB version and a 16GB.

Impossibly Small
The new Nano feels impossibly small in your hands and it’s wonderful to hold one of these thanks to the solid build quality. With 3.5 inches tall, 1.6 inches wide, and only 1.6 inches, this is the thinnest iPod Nano ever. See the pictures for yourself.

Build Quality
The body of the Nano is all curvy built with aluminum and curvy glass for the screen. The screen is more scratch resistance now. The glass is shiny and reflective but in no way affect the viewing quality of the display. No matter what angle you are looking at, it looks stunning compare to previous models.

Accelerometer
With the built-in Accelerometer, the new Nano acts just like an iPhone or iPod Touch. You can turn the unit sideways in playlists, artists, etc it will go to cover flow mode. You can shuffle songs by shaking the Nano. Pretty cool.

The user interface is much more enhanced with new smooth animations, and effects. It all work wonderful with the added Accelerometer and much more smoother between transitions.
Accessibility And Genius Playlist
On the accessibility side, there is a new text setting where you can increase the font size to your liking. The new Genius Playlist feature let you create 25 song playlists based on your songs in your library. I played with it for a while, and it is pretty fun.
Buying Advice
Out of 4 generations of iPod Nanos, this has to be the best looking one so far. If you are in the market for a new Nano, with it’s curved Aluminum body and Glass and the new nano-chromatic colors you gotta get one of these.
